About Purvi Patel
Purvi Patel, Vice President, Regulatory Strategy, ITC Holdings
Purvi Patel is Vice President of Regulatory Strategy for ITC Holdings Corp (ITC), overseeing the development and implementation of strategic plans to ensure regulatory compliance, navigate policy changes and advocate for the company’s interests. She leads and manages administrative and strategic development efforts for regulatory filings and initiatives that help advance the grid of the future.
Having worked at ITC for the past 19 years, Ms. Patel led numerous internal and external working groups and task teams dealing with a variety of transmission issues and represented the company in regulatory proceedings, settlement negotiations, and industry meetings. Previously, she served as Director and Manager of Regulatory Strategy, as well as Senior Regulatory Analyst.
Currently, Ms. Patel is a Board Member for Advancing Women in Energy and is Co-Chair of Edison Electric Institute (EEI)’s FERC Executive Advisory Committee. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for Common Ground, a nonprofit, trauma informed, recovery-oriented agency dedicated to helping youths, adults and families in crisis. In 2022, Ms. Patel successfully completed Fortis Leadership Lab, a yearlong leadership development program where participants from 10 Fortis utility operations were hand selected by executive leadership. Additionally, she has participated in EEI’s Diverse and Emerging Leaders program.
Prior to joining ITC in 2004, Ms. Patel was a Market Analyst at Tampa Electric Company and a Financial Analyst at Enron Corporation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Florida.
