Lindsay Wold is an Associate Engineer on the Environmental Strategy – Renewables team at DTE Energy (DTE). Her current role at DTE focuses on developing and implementing strategies for ensuring environmental compliance and managing wildlife interactions at all of DTE's wind and solar projects. Lindsay’s responsibilities range from early-on site assessments to life-of-the-project operational management strategies. She strives to find sustainable approaches to business, energy and technology through her work at DTE. She serves on the planning committee for the greater Renewables DE&I initiatives and cofounded DTE’s Women of Renewables group, where she also serves on the planning committee.
Her passion for business reliance and sustainability first came from her undergraduate work in the Marine Biology field, where she extensively studied sea turtle physiology and nesting patterns in Florida and the Caribbean. Prior to working at DTE, Lindsay lived in her hometown of Freeport, Maine where she first gained experience in the renewable field while working for a solar design and installation company.
Lindsay earned her Master in Environmental Management (MEM) with a track in Sustainable and Resilient Communities from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Principia College.
